Description

Here is the original sketch of the Sword of Omens which holds the Eye of Thundera from the 1980's TV series ThunderCats. As originally envisioned the hilt of the sword supposed to completely enclose so the eyes of the bearer could see through the hilt and acquire Sight beyond Sight. However the animators didn't quite understand how it was supposed to look and so it came out differently when it finally appeared on the show.

This original design for the Sword of Omens got a shoutout in the "Key of Thundera" episode when Snarf suggested the sword be used like a magnifying glass. ^_~
